    Does it matter what kind of wood you use? I definitely need a yardstick of DOOM!!!

    1. Georgie - I think just about any wood should work - but the shaving won't hold up to much use. If you made one from a yardstick of doom, well that would last longer I am sure. But there aren't too many of those around - maybe ebay?

  3. Last night, while cleaning the shop in preparation for a new project, I considered getting rid of a yardstick that has been sitting forlornly in the corner, something about the sentimental value of things past... Today I'm marching right out and giving it new life!
